Participant Information

Current views on Fetal Pillow device use in New Zealand

You have been invited to take part in this survey because you are an obstetrician or obstetric trainee working in New Zealand.

The goal of the survey is to understand clinicians’ use and attitudes towards the Fetal Pillow device. Your responses will help in the planning of a clinical trial.

Participation is voluntary and all survey data will be collected anonymously.

You can choose not to complete this survey, or to discontinue at any time. By completing this survey, it will be assumed that you consent to inclusion of your responses.

If you choose to discontinue before completing the survey, the responses provided prior to discontinuation will be included in the study.

If you do not complete the survey at your first attempt, you can reuse the link to complete the survey. If you are using the same computer, we can ensure that your responses are linked.

Completion of the survey should take no longer than 10 minutes.

To thank you for your participation, we are offering (1) a $5 donation to Women’s Refuge New Zealand, and (2) an opportunity to enter a prize draw for $100.

If you would like to enter the prize draw, or if you would like to receive a copy of the findings, you will have an opportunity to submit your email address, and this will not be linked with your answers on the survey.

You will be sent one reminder about this survey. As the survey is anonymous you will be sent the reminder even if you have already completed the questionnaire. We apologise for this but this is necessary to ensure anonymity.

Data obtained from this survey will be retained for 10 years, and may be used for journal publications and conference presentations.

The funding for this survey is via a Health Research Council (HRC) Clinical Practitioner Research Fellowship awarded to Dr Lynn Sadler.
